Microsoft Xbox Indiana Jones
4 big wins!
A huge success and a showcase of an exciting retail concept demonstrating true engagement!
🏆 Gold – Window Displays
🏆 Gold – Retailer Exclusive Display
🥈 Silver – Consumer Electronics
🥉 Bronze – Retail Industrial Design – Temporary Display
The background and market context for this campaign was that in order to promote the launch of the Xbox Indiana Jones and the Great Circle video game, Microsoft needed an engaging holiday window display.
Microsoft’s key objective was to showcase this collaboration through an interactive, fun experience across their flagship Microsoft Experience Centre stores in London, Seattle, New York and Sydney’s Pitt Street.
The displays needed to capture the adventurous essence of the game while fitting into the holiday atmosphere.
Prime Video Primeville Sweetspot
Real experience!
An epic event with 20k+ attendees, and voted as one of the top experiences during SXSW Sydney!
🥈 Silver – Experiential
🥉 Bronze – Specialty Retail, Lifestyle & Service Providers
Prime Video needed to be promoted as an Entertainment Hub, where the user’s experience can be transformed from “content chaos” (too many passwords to too many streaming services for a revolving number of shows) into a streamlined one-stop-shop.
The Prime Video offerings that transform this user experience are the combined features of:
• Included with Prime (shows that can be viewed on Prime Video at no extra cost)
• Add-ons (a third-party channel such as Paramount+, BritBox, Hayu, AMC+)
• Rent or Buy (one-off rentals of particular shows or movies)
The immersive, interactive and multi-channel experience provided through SXSW 2024 offered the perfect environment to showcase this approach.
Microsoft Xbox Forza x Jordan
Jordan + Xbox!
Two cool brands come together to create one amazing retail experience!
🥈 Silver – Retail Industrial Design – Permanent Display
🥉 Bronze – Retailer Exclusive Display
The activation was driven by several collaborations between Xbox, the video game Forza, and NBA superstar Luka Dončić's new Jordan branded basketball sneaker.
An immersive, in-store experience was required, allowing visitors to engage directly with these exciting new releases. The goal was to provide a hands-on experience that brought these collaborations to life and encouraged deeper customer interaction with the products.
Microsoft 15 Years of Minecraft
Microsoft needed an in-store experience that would celebrate the 15-year anniversary of Minecraft and highlight Minecraft and Microsoft’s collaboration on a global scale, simultaneously with their four flagship stores in Seattle, New York, London and Sydney. It needed to be interactive and represent the most recognisable features of the Minecraft game while integrating seamlessly into the Microsoft stores.
Microsoft Experience Centre
As one of only four Microsoft flagship stores globally, the Sydney location offers the opportunity to draw in locals and tourists alike, to allow them to experience Microsoft innovations that are also being enacted in the flagship stores in Seattle, London and New York, at the same time as their global counterparts.
Having an ever-changing rotation of display showcases at such a central location, in a tourist hotspot such as Sydney, is a prime opportunity to draw in foot traffic and increase sales, as well as social media shares, to market each Microsoft innovation.
